To get it right for every child, their individual growth and development must factor in their family, local community, and wider societal influences. Therefore to achieve our organisation’s mission, our focus is on supporting the whole family unit.
This ambition means we are working in partnership with young people and their parents and carers to ensure their wellbeing and rights are supported and upheld. From providing financial support and signposting, writing wellbeing referrals, to providing advocacy for Child Planning Meetings for Education, including taking part in formal Inter-Agency Referral Discussions.
Our board and staff team are diverse with a range of lived experiences, and by prioritising relationships first, we have been able to make a positive difference in the lives of families struggling to access timely and proportionate support. Our roles in terms of family wellbeing have been adapted to reflect the needs of what individual families have told us matters most to them, and are supported to make informed choices about what support they feel is right for their family.
Please reach out if you need support, advice or would like more information about our bi-monthly peer meetings, 1:1 support and advocacy, benefits advice, parenting support, or anything else - We will signpost you to the right support if we can't help.
